Sea-to-Sky Air Quality Management Plan
The Sheltair Group worked with the BC Ministry of Environment to develop a new approach to air quality planning for the Sea-to-Sky Corridor that avoids duplication of effort by focusing on identifying, communicating, and supporting initiatives that have air quality co-benefits.
Haida Gwaii Community Electricity Plan
The Council of the Haida Nation and BC Hydro commissioned the The Sheltair Group to develop a Community Electricity Plan (CEP) for Haida Gwaii/Queen Charlotte Islands. The CEP includes both a technical program and a public involvement program.
Maple Ridge Sustainability Consultation
Sheltair is working with the District of Maple Ridge to develop an implementation plan for sustainability strategies outlined in the District’s Corporate Strategic Plan. The work is focused on the District’s progression towards Carbon Neutrality through educating Council and Staff, and identifying realistic goals, targets and measures to implement in departmental work plans.
Township of Langley Corporate GHG Management Plan
The Sheltair Group worked with the Township of Langley to develop a corporate Greenhouse Gas Action Plan. This work included developing and implementing a consultation strategy, identifying and analyzing potential measures for the plan, and creating an engagement plan for staff.
Dockside Green Performance Measures, City of Victoria
The Sheltair Group led a consulting consortium in a project to develop a framework of triple bottom line performance measurement indicators for monitoring and reporting on the impact of the LEED™ Platinum Dockside Green Development on the City and broader environment.
Rossland Visions to Actions Strategic Community Planning Process
The Sheltair Group is working with the City of Rossland to develop a Strategic Sustainability Plan based on the municipality’s Visions to Action long-term planning strategy.
