Rossland Visions to Actions Strategic Community Planning Process

The Sheltair Group is working with the City of Rossland to develop a Strategic Sustainability Plan based on the municipality’s Visions to Action long-term planning strategy. Framed around engaging the community in a conversation about Rossland’s future, it focuses on building awareness within and beyond the community and defining a vision of sustainability through the year 2030. The Plan outlines goals and strategies exploring eleven Focus Areas, and provides a set of principles to guide the decision-making process. The project also involves updating and aligning the Official Community Plan (OCP) to reflect the directions identified in the Strategic Sustainability Plan.
