Maple Ridge Sustainability Consultation

Sheltair is working with the District of Maple Ridge to develop an implementation plan for sustainability strategies outlined in the District’s Corporate Strategic Plan. The work is focused on the District’s progression towards Carbon Neutrality through educating Council and Staff, and identifying realistic goals, targets and measures to implement in departmental work plans. The project will also develop and integrate short, medium and long-term policies, practices and programs addressing the triple-bottom line of environmental, economic and social sustainability. Implementation strategies involve public engagement, the development of communication tools, citizen education and identifying and adapting potential best practices from other jurisdictions.
