Lyle Walker, MSc, MCIP – Project Manager

Lyle Walker is an Urban Planner and Project Manager with The Sheltair Group, a Vancouver-based consulting firm committed to helping clients define and achieve their sustainability goals. Lyle has ten years of experience in long-range and sustainability planning, including working on regional growth strategies, sustainability plans, cycling strategies, community energy plans, and various planning and transportation studies.

Lyle has conducted numerous demographic analysis and forecasting, land use planning, growth management, database management, and GIS analysis projects for municipal and regional district clients in BC.

Lyle was a key member of the citiesPLUS team that won an International Sustainable Urban Systems Design Competition in 2003 for the development of a 100-year sustainability plan for Greater Vancouver. Before joining The Sheltair Group in 2001, Lyle worked for four years in a research role on a regional growth strategy and various transportation projects for the Capital Regional District in Victoria.
