Dockside Green Performance Measures, City of Victoria


The Sheltair Group led a consulting consortium in a project to develop a framework of triple bottom line performance measurement indicators for monitoring and reporting on the impact of the LEED™ Platinum Dockside Green Development on the City and broader environment. The work included identifying environmental, social, and economic indicators, benchmarking the indicators, as well as overseeing the design of survey instruments for the Dockside residents, employers, and the surrounding neighbourhood. The indicators were rolled out into a user-friendly software program that can be viewed via the Internet. This tool allows for the easy viewing of data that has been collected about each indicator. This provides an opportunity for more community participation and knowledge transfer to its future residents and the public.
