Dexter Lam, BASc


Dexter is an Engineer in Training, and has a background in bioprocess and chemical engineering with six years of research experience related to renewable energy.  His experience has focused on biomass energy, including technical and economic development, evaluating technologies and assessing feedstocks.  Having worked in both academic and industrial environments, he uses his understanding of technical, economic and policy implications on the implementation of sustainable energy technologies to analyze plans and strategies.

Dexter also has five years of community consultation experience involving revitalization and sustainable development plans for Vancouver's Chinatown. He actively facilitates discussion and collaboration between stakeholders in the community, including residents, businesses, non-profit organizations and multiple levels of government.
