Conservation Potential Review Update for BC Hydro

The Sheltair Group, in association with Marbek Resource Consultants, conducted a study to assess remaining electricity efficiency potential in B.C as a basis for designing new initiatives or rates and estimate the potential contribution of Power Smart efficiency programs to the reduction of BC Hydro’s peak capacity requirements. The project also identified additional technologies that could be “fast tracked” to provide further savings over the study period.
