Cariad Garratt, B. Env.Sc. - Sustainability Consultant


Cariad is a sustainability consultant with a passion for providing clients, stakeholders and the general public with information to educate and support decisions.  Over the last 9 years, Cariad has led teams through the planning and development of several tools, plans, and reports that facilitate regional planning, integrated watershed planning and resource conservation.

Cariad's role at Sheltair includes leading the company's air quality endeavours, developing community energy plans, and applying indicators and targets to monitor regional change.  Currently, she is facilitating the Air Quality Management Planning process for the Sea-to-Sky corridor, and completing a Human Well Being Indicator and Baseline Study for the Ecosystem Based Management Working Group in the North and Central coasts of BC.

Outside of her work at Sheltair, Cariad chairs the Vancouver chapter of Connecting Environmental Professionals, a volunteer-run non-profit organization dedicated to providing networking, career development and capacity building opportunities for new and emerging professionals in the sustainability profession.
